John McCain has had a facial growth removed in what campaign people said was a routine precuationary procedure. He has had four melanomas removed since 1993, one of which was invasive. Word is a biopsy will be performed on this growth.
Unlike some commenters on the Politico blog, I doubt if this is a sign health issues will become extremely important in the McCain campaign. In this day and age it’s almost impossible to hide real health problems. At least we presume that.
